Amanda Saracione

Outreach Coordinator

Amanda was born and raised in Sunland-Tujunga and brings both personal experience and professional dedication to her role. Having overcome challenges with addiction and homelessness, she deeply understands the importance of support, compassion, and guidance during difficult times.

Her journey of recovery was greatly supported by Making It Happen, where she began volunteering with the Food Pantry, hot meals program, and community events. This experience inspired her to continue giving back and helping others find hope and stability.

Today, Amanda serves as an Outreach Coordinator with Making It Happen while also working with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. She is pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology and remains committed to outreach, advocacy, and empowering others to transform their lives. Helping others and giving back to her community is not just her work—it’s her passion.
