Alexis was raised in the Sunland /Tujunga/ La Crescenta area.  Alexis’ personal struggle with homelessness helped her to understand the importance of having community support when going through challenging circumstances.

 

Making it Happen helped Alexis to get back on her feet again while volunteering at their food bank and hot meal.  She has since achieved a bachelor’s degree in business. She wants to use her knowledge and experiences at Making it Happen to impact the lives of others who need support.
