Refund Policy

Making It Happen, Inc. may, under certain rare and special circumstances, and under the advisement of its Treasurer, issue a donation refund to a donor that submits the request in writing.  Donation refunds are to be voted on, and approved, by the Board of Directors.

 

Approved cash refunds will be issued to requesting donors only in the event that the donor’s name and amounts given can be identified through internal accounting records.  In lieu of a cash refund, the donor also has the right to request in writing that Making It Happen, Inc. transfer the initial donation amount to another non-profit charitable organization whose stated mission is similar to Making It Happen, Inc. in order to preserve the tax deductibility of the initial donation.
